We have watched this one a couple of times. This past two weeks, they did a big episode where they traded a vegan woman with a woman from the bayous whose family had an alligator farm.
For anyone who saw this... wasn't the vegan woman just the biggest bitch you had ever seen?? If I had been the Cajin family, I would have bitch-slapped that broad right out the door. And she ate meat... so not only was she a judgemental pain in the ass, she was a hypocrite to boot...

Thu, June 23, 2005 - 11:14 AMand then her family gets all upset and mad because she ate a small piece of Aligator.... it wasn't like it was red meat... might as well have been fish....
and if you've ever had fried Aligator it is damn good stuff...
and the Cajin woman was excepting of the vegan culture .. she made the vegan gumbo even though she didn't want too.... the other BITCH look at the cajins like they were Aliens from another planet or something.. Come on now she was only vegan for the past 8 years... She ate meat before she was vegan....
Hey if you don't wanna eat red meat be my guest.. I'll take some Fish or Seafood over a steak anyday myself....

Thu, June 23, 2005 - 11:27 AMone more thing about trading spouses. it's unreasonable to expect to go into a family and make signifigant changes in a week, as the incredible vegan bitch woman did. i just thought of somthing. she'd be great in the wwe as simon dean's manager! -

Re: Trading Spouses
Thu, June 23, 2005 - 11:57 AMI didn't see the show, but I thought I would chime in.
I'm a vegetarian (not a vegan), and because of it, I would never sign up for a reality tv show. I wouldn't want to be on the Amazing Race or Survivor and be forced to eat meat or lose.
Your digestive system is responsive to the food that you eat. If she really hasn't had any animal products for 8 years, digesting alligator would be very difficult. I can usually tell if I get slipped some meat (like if the restaurant tells me it is tomato sauce and it is really meat sauce), because of the way my stomach feels after I eat it. Even if I only had one bite. -

Re: Trading Spouses
Thu, June 23, 2005 - 1:25 PMShe wasn't forced to eat the meat. At the end of the show on the last day she decided that since she had been in Cajin country and had been subjected to thier culture that she'd try a small piece of Aligator so no one could say she hadn't tried it... She also figured it wasn't a red meat.. Nor was it a mammal but a reptile so it was ok ... for in her words it wasn't like a cow or chicken or a dog... but a not so nice animal...
She also went and asked the Cajin Host family a ? and I don't know why she asked this but she asked if they were starving and had no food no $ no place to get food would they eat the Dogs cause she said she would eat a dog if she was that down on her luck. and the cajin boy and father looked at her like she was crazy and said No I couldn't eat mans best friend....
But an aligator and no mans FRIEND so I have no problems eating it..

Re: Trading Spouses
Fri, June 24, 2005 - 8:08 AMYeah, this woman was the classic definition of a hypocrite. She drove that poor Cajin man and his son crazy, showed a hard-core movie about animal abuse to their party guests, cried all over the place about the 'poor alligators' and animals in general, then hit their dog and ate alligator, and told them she could eat a dog. This is why I called her a bitch...
And man! If she and Simon Dean teamed up, I might actually have to leave the room when they were on. Or go on blood pressure meds...
