I was blown away by last night's episode of 30 days. What the hell was that woman thinking??? To endanger your life and health, screw up your young son and mess up your entire life for 30 days of binge drinking, to show your drunken slut of a teenage daughter that it is bad? What a concept. That's like hitting your kid to show them that hitting is bad. Not too smart and totally ineffectual.

If that was my kid, I would have told her to quit drinking, get some counseling or go to AA, or I was pulling the plug. No more money, no more college, go out and get a job. Paying for your kid's addiction is called enabling and it never works. I am sure not going to sit around with her, listening to her regale me with tales of her drunken partying and say, "oh my..."

What an idiot. Still love the show though....
